Abaxia joins Symbian Platinum Partner program.

The Symbian Platinum Program includes companies that own a key technology or hold a strategic position in Symbian OS mobile computing technology environment. Abaxia has developed several Symbian OS compliant applications and, as Symbian Platinum Partner, will be able to further strengthen its relationships with end-users, application developers, smart phones manufacturers and carriers/network operators.

Abaxia's Mail Set-up application.

Abaxia's Mail Set-up application has been selected by Nokia as a standard application for their 6820 messaging phone device. The Nokia version is derived from the Java comprehensive application tool used for auto-setting mobile terminals e-mail parameters via GSM or GPRS connections.

New developments for Orange France.

Abaxia has recently developed two projects for Orange France. Abaxia has been selected by Orange France three years ago to develop a Starter Tool Kit GSM/GPRS on Palm OS and Pocket PC. Abaxia has developed the same Starter Tool Kit for Orange Reunion and also a dedicated Kit to one of Orange clients.

Orange Signature

Orange Signature device Abaxia has been chosen by Orange Group to develop customized applications for Orange on different platforms. Abaxia will develop a similar interface on different mobile handsets which will be launch during the next months in Europe. Abaxia shows again its capability to develop cross-platforms applications.

Mail Set up is Nokia OK.

The Mail Set up application developed by Abaxia has been certified Nokia OK. The aim of this tool, supported in Java (WMA / SMS API / MIDP 2.0) or Symbian platform, is to auto-configure mobile terminals for e-mail in GSM or GPRS connections. With Mail Set- up, the user will at ease be able to configure his/her mailbox in just few clicks.

Symbian Signed After different applications certified Nokia OK, Abaxia is finalizing the process to get Symbian Signed. Symbian Signed applications follow industry-agreed quality guidelines and support network operator requirements for signed applications.

MobileTag application in partnership with Wiziway.

Abaxia and Wiziway become partners Abaxia and Wiziway have signed a partnership for the Mobile Tag application. Wiziway is specialized in the decoding of Data Matrix and Abaxia has developed this technology for mobile devices. This Mobile Tag application can be installed on various camera phones and can be used for different type of applications.
